I bought a 1997 Mongoose Rogue I've bought all the parts I need now I plan to powder coat the frame and clean bath the chrome parts in citric acid and polish it up to make it look nice I also have a 1998 Hooligan that needs polishing up and a 1998 Sniper .. more »

I'm still not sold that this bike is a Rogue though I know a lot of people have told me it is but I'm sure the stickers that are on it are original and by looking at it I don't believe it's a Villain I somehow think this is a Hooligan people have said

That's a shame, there current(and last years and possibly even the year before that) crop of non department store bikes are actually pretty good. The 650 is the MSRP, not everywhere is going to sell it for that much. What bike in the 400 range has: Full chromo frame Full chromo fork and bars Full sealed 48 spline cranks Actual Odyssey Aitken tires Half link chain(they suck but they're trendy and raise the price of completes) FSA Impact headset 75% of the completes in the mid to low 400s are crap and not as good as the DK Helio or Kink Whip for 350.
